Mumbai: BMC Seeks Alternate Financing To Fund Mega Projects Amid ₹2 Lakh Crore In Committed Liabilities
The BMC has invited tenders to appoint an agency to mobilise alternate financing as committed liabilities exceed ₹2 lakh crore and major infrastructure projects remain underway. The agency will prepare a capital investment plan and debt policy and explore bonds, carbon finance, government schemes and blended funding. About ₹39,500 crore of reserves is currently available for infrastructure.
