The Michigan Senate race heats up after Democratic Congresswoman Haley Stevens makes a move backing Republican Mike Rogers. But Abdul El-Sayed isn't backing down. Asked about Stevens, El-Sayed says he is “less interested in the politics” than the policy — before launching a sharp attack on Rogers over healthcare, prescription drug prices, public education and unions.El-Sayed argues that voters who stand against hate, want stronger healthcare and support public education and workers’ rights should question Rogers’ record. He also takes aim at Rogers’ ties to big pharma and big insurance, and his role in legislation affecting Detroit public schools.
