BMC Says Mumbai Could Recover Nearly 400 MLD Water By Cutting Distribution Losses 10 Per Cent
Mumbai could recover nearly 400 MLD of water by reducing Non-Revenue Water by 10%, BMC officials told the Standing Committee. About 34% of the city’s 4,100 MLD supply is lost through leakages, theft, faulty metering and other distribution losses. The BMC plans to target unauthorised connections and improve network efficiency.
