The Maharashtra government has introduced a health workforce training policy requiring regular and contractual employees to undergo structured training programmes. New recruits must complete initial training within one year, while refresher and advanced courses will follow at later stages. The policy also includes a 28-day residential Skill Lab programme for practical and field-based learning.
