Mumbai: Special NDPS Court Acquits Tanzanian National In Cocaine Case, Convicts Him For Illegal Stay In India
A Mumbai special NDPS court acquitted Tanzanian national Dazi Amani Emsuku of charges of possessing and allegedly selling 600 grams of cocaine, citing contradictions in evidence and lack of independent witnesses. However, the court convicted him for illegally staying in India and sentenced him to five years' imprisonment, a term he has already served.
