Vashi Jewellery Shop Burglary: Thieves Drill Through Wall During Ganesh Visarjan Noise, Escape With 2.5 Kg Silver
A gang allegedly broke into Meghna Jewellers in Vashi by drilling through an adjoining wall during Anant Chaturdashi processions. Police said the suspects used loud drumbeats to hide drilling sounds and escaped with around 2.5 kg of silver ornaments and cash. APMC Police are examining CCTV footage and investigating the role of the adjoining shop tenant.
