Overcrowding and infrastructure shortcomings at Indore’s Maharaja Tukojirao Hospital have raised concerns over conditions in maternity wards. A ground report found three patients sharing a bed in some cases and others reportedly sleeping on the floor. Sanitation and drainage are also under strain as the hospital has expanded to around 400 beds.
