Amazon is facing a class action lawsuit over claims that some seafood products sold on its platform are marketed as sustainable even though consumers may not be getting the full picture about how the seafood is sourced. The proposed class-action lawsuit, filed in Seattle federal court on August 7, accuses Amazon of “greenwashing” dozens of tuna, salmon and other seafood products.
