Broadway Public School students visit The Tribune - The Tribune
Broadway Public School, Manal, organised an educational visit to The Tribune, Chandigarh, for the students of classes X to XII. The visit was jointly organised by the Commerce Department with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to the functioning of the print media industry and enhancing their understanding of journalism, publishing and business operations. A total of 113 students enthusiastically participated in the educational tour. During the visit, they gained first-hand knowledge of the newspaper printing process, editorial operations, modern printing technology and the overall workflow involved in newspaper production. The experience proved to be highly informative and inspiring, helping students connect classroom learning with real-world practices. The visit was coordinated under the guidance of Nitish Jain, Commerce Coordinator, who served as the overall organiser. He expressed his commitment to organising many more educational and industrial visits in the future to provide students with meaningful experiential learning opportunities. Chairman Ranjeet Singh Cheema, Director Navreet Kaur and Principal MA Saify appreciated the sincere efforts of the Commerce Department in successfully organising the educational tour. They congratulated the organising team and encouraged them to continue conducting such enriching activities that contribute to the holistic development of students.
