BMC-run V N Desai Hospital in Santacruz East will suspend full-fledged operations for 90 days after Diwali for electrical and sewerage work. OPD services will continue in temporary containers, while emergency patients will be shifted to Bhabha Hospital in Bandra or Cooper Hospital in Vile Parle. Staff will move to Bhabha and Trauma Care Hospital in Jogeshwari.
