Rohan Arni, 17, used AI to analyse mysterious radio flashes from space; his model classified repeating and non-repeating bursts with 98% accuracy | - The Times of India

A 17-year-old student has used artificial intelligence to investigate mysterious flashes of radio waves travelling across space, building a machine-learning model that can tell repeating fast radio bursts from those that appear only once. Rohan Arni, a student at High Technology High School in New Jersey, trained his model using data collected by the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME), a radio telescope designed to study the sky.
