Marco Rubio has publicly pushed back against Volodymyr Zelensky after the Ukrainian president claimed that U.S. intelligence sharing with Kyiv had been temporarily paused.Rubio flatly denied that account, saying there had been “no pause” and questioning where Zelensky was getting his information from. He added that the Ukrainian leader should be focused on bringing the war to an end rather than airing disputed claims in public. The exchange comes amid a widening rift between Donald Trump and Zelensky over intelligence support, sanctions, energy policy and Washington’s relationship with Moscow. Russian officials have been openly watching the growing U.S.-Ukraine tensions, while continuing their own attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure.
