Bombay HC To Hear Liquor Makers’ Challenge To FSSAI Orders Halting Fresh Stocks Of McDowell’s And Old Monk
United Spirits and Mohan Meakin have moved the Bombay High Court against FSSAI orders stopping fresh stocks of McDowell’s No. 1 Celebration Matured Rum and Old Monk. FSSAI cited labelling and flavouring concerns, while the companies argue the products comply with regulations and pose no public health risk. The matter will be heard again on August 10.
