This June, more than 17,400 students from 127 countries and every corner of Canada earned their degrees from the University of Toronto – with more than 15,000 of them crossing the stage inside Convocation Hall during one of 36 ceremonies. Along with their family and friends, the Class of 2026 then spilled out onto Front Campus where the real celebrations began. Friends piled into photos, proud parents shed tears, and everyone, it seemed, came away wearing a smile.
