Newly established government medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh are facing a severe faculty shortage, with many operating at only 20–25% of sanctioned strength. Several departments have no teachers, affecting academics and practical training. A proposed incentive scheme for faculty is yet to be implemented by the Directorate of Medical Education.
