After years of neglect, there is finally a ray of hope for the Punjab State War Memorial near the Jalandhar bus stand. The Public Works Department (PWD) is set to renovate the memorial at an estimated cost of ₹3.98 crore. The design has already been approved by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the project is awaiting the final budgetary sanction.
