The Maharashtra government has directed MMC to stop registering BHMS doctors with CCMP qualifications for limited allopathy practice until further orders. The decision follows opposition from Central MARD and IMA over professional standards and patient safety concerns. The government said registrations should wait until the High Court verdict, procedure finalisation or the situation settles.
