Ambernath Ganpati Collection Dispute Turns Fatal; Thane Crime Branch Catches Suspect Fleeing To Andhra Pradesh
A 29-year-old man was allegedly killed in Ambernath following a dispute over Ganpati festival collection money, police said. The Thane Crime Branch detained accused Govind Koli on a train near Kalyan railway station while he was allegedly trying to travel to Andhra Pradesh. Police said technical surveillance and informant inputs helped trace him within 12 hours.
