French Bread Pizza
This delicious French Bread Pizza is so quick and easy that you will wonder why it has not been on your rotation list for years. Change up the toppings for added variety and picky eaters.
Rezept
Vorbereitung ca. 5 MinutenKochzeit ca. 15 Minuten
Zutaten:
- 1 loaf French bread (about 12 inches long)
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 1½ cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella
- ½ cup pepperoni
- 4 slices crispy cooked bacon coarsely chopped
- ½ cup chopped red pepper
- ½ cup chopped green pepper
Arbeitsschritte:
- Preheat the oven to 400°. Place a pizza stone in the oven.
- Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise. Brush olive oil over the cut sides of the bread, then toast on the pizza stone in the oven for 3-5 minutes.
- Spread a light coating of pizza sauce on the toasted bread. Top with half the shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, bacon, red and green bell peppers, and the remaining mozzarella.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and gooey. Cool for a couple of minutes before slicing and enjoying.
