Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde criticised Shiv Sena (UBT) for supporting protests without joining them directly. Referring to Sonam Wangchuk’s Jantar Mantar protest, Shinde accused UBT of backing agitations from home. He also dismissed the Sena merger challenge, defended the NDA’s ideology and said police had acted against those involved in the TET paper leak case.
