Former Virar Municipal President Pradeep Tendulkar and his group narrowly escaped a Nepal flash flood after leaving their hotel a day before the disaster. The hotel where they stayed was reportedly washed away by floodwaters. Tendulkar, who had travelled to Mount Kailash on August 22, shared details of the incident in a video. The group is now safe and continuing its pilgrimage.
