Donald Trump has announced that he will not intervene in the Republican race for House Minority Leader following the party's midterm defeat. Asked about the leadership contest, Trump declared, "We'll stay out of it," while praising the outgoing Speaker and his team. The president also mentioned Jim Jordan, who has announced his candidacy, but stopped short of offering an endorsement. Trump's decision to remain publicly neutral comes as Republicans prepare for a leadership battle after losing control of the House, raising questions about Jordan's prospects without the president's explicit backing.
