Planes were filmed making a bumpy landing at Heathrow Airport as Storm Boelo brought strong winds and heavy rain to parts of the UK. (24 October) Flights have been grounded after the Met Office issued a “danger to life” weather warning as the storm swept across the country. Dublin Airport announced several cancellations on Saturday as the second named storm of the last few days brought heavy rain and powerful gusts. The disruption comes just a day after Storm Austen battered parts of the UK, leaving thousands of homes without power in Cornwall and forcing schools to close.
