The Bombay High Court has dismissed Wockhardt Hospitals’ appeal seeking ₹1.23 crore in damages from Dr Nitish Vyas, who resigned after seven days’ notice. The court held that the hospital failed to prove actual financial losses, noting it had not shown patients were turned away or that efforts were made to hire a replacement doctor.
