Mumbai-Pune Rail Disruption To Continue As Rains Wash Away Restoration Work After Landslide
More than 75 hours after a landslide disrupted the Mumbai-Pune rail corridor, train services remain severely affected as relentless rain continues to wash away restoration work in the Monkey Hill-Thakurwadi ghat section. Central Railway says repairs may take another 40-50 hours. Over 1,100 personnel are deployed, while several trains remain cancelled, diverted or delayed.
