Vasai-Virar: Smart Meter Protest Postponed; March To MSEDCL Office Scheduled
The planned September 7 NH-48 highway blockade in Vasai over MSEDCL’s smart meter installations has been postponed to avoid traffic disruption during Paryushan and Ganeshotsav. Instead, an all-party protest march will be held at 4 PM to the MSEDCL office in Vasai East. Protesters demand a halt to mandatory installations and warn of a highway blockade if their concerns remain unresolved.
