Incomplete house work, construction defects: Contractor told to pay Rs 40,000 | - The Times of India
NEW DELHI: A district consumer commission in Kerala has held a contractor responsible for deficiency in service after he left construction work on a house incomplete and defects were later found in the building. In its order dated August 4, the commission directed the contractor to pay Rs 30,000 for the defective work and Rs 10,000 towards the cost of the complaint.
