Mumbai: BMC Corporators Seek 67 Per Cent Hike In Ward Development Fund From ₹60 Lakh To ₹1 Crore
Mumbai corporators across party lines have sought a 67% increase in the annual ward development fund from Rs 60 lakh to Rs 1 crore, citing rising material and labour costs and growing civic needs. A BJP corporator’s notice of motion seeking the hike is scheduled for consideration at the BMC’s next general body meeting.
