Pressemitteilung: EUROCONTROL and EASA launch AVENIR Environmental Catalogue to strengthen environmental transparency in aviation / EUROCONTROL and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) have launched the AVENIR Environmental Catalogue, a new resource providing air navigation service providers (ANSPs) with a structured and user-oriented overview of environmental tools, dashboards, use cases and analytical approaches. Developed through the EUROCONTROL-EASA joint AVENIR Working Group, the AVENIR Environmental Catalogue is designed to make it easier for ANSPs, and aviation stakeholders at large, to navigate the growing range of environmental assessment and monitoring solutions available, helping users: • monitor environmental performance • analyse ATM inefficiencies, fuel burn and emissions • support environmental assessment and reporting activities • explore operational and technical mitigation measures • identify relevant tools, dashboards and methodologies for specific environmental topics and operational questions.
