Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde criticised Shiv Sena (UBT) amid the Supreme Court hearing over the party symbol and identity dispute. Shinde alleged attempts were being made to erase Balasaheb Thackeray’s Hindutva legacy and ideology. He said the bow-and-arrow symbol was closely associated with Balasaheb and defended the Election Commission’s role in the matter.
