No political boundaries endorsed under UN map resolution: MEA - The Tribune
Two days after the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution promoting equal-area map projections that more accurately represent the size of continents, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Sunday clarified that the UN has not adopted or authenticated any map depicting political boundaries.MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal responded to the matter on Sunday as several international media houses published a map showing erroneous political boundaries of India to depict the new UN-approved map.
