Zinedine Zidane made his debut as France coach with a 1-0 victory against Turkey in Izmit. Kylian Mbappe scored the only goal of the match shortly after halftime. Unfortunately, Mbappe sustained an injury while attempting a shot and was visibly in pain. Zidane indicated that the injury could prevent Mbappe from participating in future matches.
