The NGT’s Bhopal bench has directed authorities to act against alleged tree damage, untreated sewage discharge and construction violations in wetland areas. A committee found seven damaged trees in Professors’ Colony and 8-10 MLD wastewater entering the Lower Lake. The tribunal also sought reports on wetland compliance and sewage treatment measures.
